Trace Heater

At Aptiva we can provide you with some brilliant trace heating elements that will help your pipework systems in the cold weather. A trace heater is a system used to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes and vessels using heat tracing cables. This takes the form of an electrical heating element run in physical contact along the length of a pipe. This is very helpful for pipework systems that are exposed to low temperatures and for maintaining desired service temperatures. The typical uses for these systems are usually for things like sprinkler pipework systems and this will ensure 100% operation of the facility even in freezing conditions. They can also be used for hot water services, in buildings such as hotels and hospitals, they can benefit from our systems that will provide them with an instant supply of hot water to 60 degrees centigrade. it will also protect against legionella.

With each of our systems, we install Digitech Thermostats enabling complete control of the protective systems. Then thermal insulation is then applied to the network to protect and enable the system to operative effectively.
