Electrical Heat Tracing System

An electrical heat tracing system is used to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes and vessels. Trace heating takes the form of an electrical element run in physical contact with a pipe or system. These pipes and systems should have thermal insulation covering them to retain any heat losses from the pipe. These systems can be used to stop pipes from freezing and causing damage or even pipe failure; For example, a sprinkler system may benefit from this to stop the water going outside from freezing. As well places like hotels and hospitals may need a constant flow of hot water at times and this system will help to keep the water above 60 degrees centigrade and will protect against legionella.

We install these systems for you and they self-regulate so there is no need to manually turn it on and off yourself. The system will also have a Digitech thermostat enabling complete control of the protective systems. Thermal insulation is then applied to the network to protect and enable the system to operate effectively as stated earlier.
